Make a Will

Making a Will is a significant piece of planning for the future of your family, friends or other beneficiaries. It should not be undertaken lightly.

The way your Will is prepared is extremely important. Mistakes can cause family turmoil and, at worst, expensive legal disputes.

It is an important document which should only be prepared by a specialist solicitor qualified in this area of law.

Wills are also very useful documents that can potentially help you with tax planning and the mitigation of other liabilities. They can also be used to create long term trusts for vulnerable family members. As a result, they can save you and your intended beneficiaries’ considerable amounts of money.

Leaving behind a valid Will means that you can control how your estate is distributed after your death. It allows you to appoint someone you trust to administer your estate and even to look after your underage children.

Our basic charge for a straightforward Will for an individual is £250.00 plus VAT, and for a couple making “mirror” Wills, our charge is £375.00 plus VAT.

If you require more detailed advice, for example regarding your potential liability for inheritance tax, or you require some kind of trust within your Will, then our charges will be somewhat greater depending on the exact advice required.
